About Reel Fleet

Reel Fleet™ began as a talent services agency for actors in Las Vegas, founded by Lee Cummings and Marlon A. Medina. What started with demo reels, actor/model headshots, and foundational acting classes quickly grew into something much bigger. Each masterclass concluded with students starring in their own short film, planting the earliest seeds of our filmmaking legacy.

As energy built around Las Vegas as the potential “Hollywood 2.0,” we expanded fast. Reel Fleet launched its full production arm and, alongside it, Reel Fleet Academy: a hands-on mentorship program built to empower the next generation of filmmakers.

The academy quickly became the heart of Reel Fleet. We phased out talent services and doubled down on education and production. Our students weren’t just watching the process, they were leading it. Many of our short-form projects were shot, directed, and written entirely by Reel Fleet Academy students.

Over the years, Reel Fleet Academy trained over a dozen emerging filmmakers, providing real-world experience and industry preparation. Through collaborations with agencies like Golden Medina Services and various placement programs, our students participated in hundreds of paid productions and bid opportunities.

Some went on to become award-winning filmmakers and directors. Others grew into high-level creatives within major brands and corporate teams. All of them became part of the Reel Fleet family.

As of 2026, Reel Fleet transitions into a legacy brand, closing out its chapter as an active business while continuing to influence the creative world through its founders.

• Marlon A. Medina builds on Reel Fleet’s workforce-development roots through GMS Partners, creating new immersive learning modules across creative and media fields.
